Titles

Titles are similarly important to classes in how they may grant abilities, but they are more closely linked to social status and interaction with natives in Nova Terra.

Known Titles

The All-Seeing Raven

The All-Seeing Raven

Blessed of Huginn, you have been granted the title of the god of knowledge. Nothing can escape your formidable gaze. Three times per day, you can call upon your title to examine a player, native, or object.

When you examine a player, native, or object you gain additional insight into their history and abilities. The greater your favor with Huginn, the more information you will gain.

Brave - Indomitable - Unshakable - Battle Mad

Title: Brave

For standing your ground in the face of a monster with more than two mastered proficiencies and surviving.

For standing your ground in the face of a monster with more than five mastered proficiencies and surviving.

Commissioned Knight (Order of the Flame)

Commissioned Knight (Order of the Flame)

You have been approved by Commander Glabius as a [Commissioned Knight] in the Order of the Flame. You are granted access to the Battlefiled of Flame and Shadow so long as you abide by the tenets of the Order of the Flame. As a [Commissioned Knight], your party is restricted to five individuals.

To advance in rank, exchange 50 Valor tokens with an Order of the Flame commander.

Criminal

Criminal

They say the only thing wrong with the crime is getting caught. Well, in your case, it is most undoubtedly wrong. Sinner.

The Criminal title is a temporary one that lasts depending on the nature of the crime committed. While possessing the Criminal title, a player is restricted from certain game features, including their abilities. They are also subject to increased suspicion from natives. Under special circumstances, this title might advance to Criminal (parole), which gives the player access to their abilities and to the in-game messaging system.

Friend of the Earth

Title: Friend of the Earth

You have earned a boon from the Earth King, Terberus. As one of the four elemental kings, Terberus has granted you the favor of the earth. This may come in handy in the future.

Inheritor

Moon Temple Inheritor

You have been chosen as the Inheriting Disciple of the Temple of the Moon. Unless you lose this position, you will be treated by all wolfkin as the next leader of the temple.

Ironhold Duke

Lord Greymane, the Moon Wolf

Title: Lord Greymane, the Moon Wolf

Chosen of Hati, the Moon Wolf, you have earned the title of Lord Greymane, rightful ruler of Greymane Keep and the Lord of the Wolfkin. To take the first step in being recognized as the rightful ruler of the Fang Forest, you must take Greymane Keep back from the corrupted wolfkin who inhabit it.

This title came as a combination of the titles Lord Greymane, which Thorn acquired after defeating the previous Lord Greymane, and The Moon Wolf, which was gifted to Thorn upon his being chosen as Hati's avatar.

Vassal of the Wolf Lord

Wolfsbane

Title: Wolfsbane

You have slain the King of the Werewolves, proving your abilities as a hunter and slayer of monsters. Locals are more likely to ask for your help in subjugating monsters of the Wolf or Lycan family.

In addition, for ending the cursed line of Gargish, you have inherited the Ring of the Wolf Lord.
